
EFA congratulates Rob Brons on new position as President of The Hague University
 After 16 years, Rob K. Brons LLM will leave his position as Chief Fire Officer of the Fire and Rescue Services of the Region of The Hague. In March 2010, he will become Chairman of the Executive Board of The Hague University.
Rob Brons began his career with the municipal police in The Hague, where he held several positions and was involved in the establishment of regional police Haaglanden. He continued his career at Fire Brigade The Hague. He is currently Chief Fire Officer at the Veiligheidsregio Haaglanden and national commander of an international rescue capability, USAR.NL. From his post at the fire service he is nationally and internationally active. Rob Brons is also vice chairman of the Board of Trustees of the psychiatric hospital Rivierduinen and governance of the Red Cross The Hague. |
